A cervical cap is a barrier contraceptive. It is inserted by a woman before sex. The cap sits over the cervix. It acts as a barrier to sperm entering the uterus. This cap is made of rubber and has an air-filled rim, presumably for comfort and flexibility. It was made by manufacturing company Lambutt of London.
