‘Off to play’ is the name of this picture puzzle board. It shows a young girl preparing to go outside to play. It has four removable parts. The subject had to replace them in the correct spaces. Aptitude testing was widespread in schools and the workplace in the early to mid-20th century. The puzzle was produced by American manufacturer C. H. Stoelting and Company. It specialised in aptitude testing equipment. These included books, puzzles and mechanical apparatus.
