The Enormous Turnip Storytelling

Overview

When busy Farmer Giles plants his turnips for the village competition, little does he know that one of them will grow to be enormous!

Can anyone help him get the turnip out of the ground in time?

This storytelling performance, based on a classic folklore story, involves all of your class in recognising, describing and demonstrating the forces Farmer Giles can use to unearth his giant vegetable.

Check out a video of shows suitable for Foundation/KS1 students.
