Florrie the Maid costumed character

Overview

It’s 1904 and housemaid Florrie is acquainting herself with some new-fangled equipment – a vacuum cleaner.

Join Florrie as she shares some of the household gossip about Lady Barking’s grand London house and her preparations to welcome a new domestic appliance that will change the way she does the spring cleaning for ever.

Our Florrie the Maid character offers a lively insight into the day-to-day life of a domestic servant and the impact that new technology and inventions had on her world.
