Human Body day for KS2

Overview

Start the day in our IMAX 3D Cinema watching The Human Body 2D film. Your students will be amazed as they follow the digestion of food from the mouth to the stomach, see body heat, witness sperm racing to an egg, watch hair growing and cringe at a spot being squeezed, all on a screen taller than four double-decker buses!

The film is seen through a day in the life of a family, including a teenager and his pregnant aunt so it’s relevant and appealing to children. Teachers should be aware that there are some short scenes about puberty, human reproduction and birth so this film has a PG rating. If you would like to make a free planning visit to assess the suitability of this film for your class, or would like more information, please contact the Education Booking Office on 020 7942 4777.

Then meet Jones the Bones, a madcap doctor and his skeleton friend, to find out how truly amazing the human body is.
