Using displays and touch-screen interactives this gallery gives an insight into:

  • advances in modern science and technology
  • the way scientists work
  • social and ethical implications of scientific and technological developments.

And students can review and rate the latest ideas along with leading scientists, engineers, designers and thinkers.

Antenna comprises a series of small displays about topical science stories which change every few months so they reflect the newest developments and innovations, and a larger 'feature' exhibition. 

The current feature is 3D: printing the future, running from 9 October 2013 - 10 July 2013.

TheAntenna website provides a rich teaching resource containing topical science stories, interviews with scientists, opinions from experts, and lively games, We also recommend it for students who are researching topical issues, problems or events in the scientific field.

During the school holidays Antenna offers the chance to meet the scientists behind the discoveries and see what they’ve been working on.
