Getting to the Museum
Traveling by coach
Coaches can drop off on Exhibition Road just north of the Science Museum, or on Queens Gate which runs parallel to Exhibition Road to the west of the Museum.
There’s no coach parking at the Museum so please advise your coach company that they will need to make alternative parking arrangements. Transport for London’s interactive map may help you find the nearest parking area.
Traveling by Tube
The closest Tube station is South Kensington on the Circle, District and Piccadilly lines.
From the ticket hall use the pedestrian tunnel to the Museum to avoid crossing busy roads. Walk the full length of the tunnel then turn left as you exit onto Exhibition Road. Take the first left into Imperial College Road and the Group Entrance is about 50m along on the left.
Traveling by bus
Routes 14, 49, 70, 74, 345, 360, 414 , C1 and 430 stop near South Kensington Tube station.
Bus routes 9, 10, 52 ,70 , 360 and 452 stop near the Royal Albert Hall, a 10-15 minute walk to the Museum's Group Entrance.
Traveling by minibus (for groups requiring easy access it the Museum)
We have parking for one minibus adjacent to the Group Entrance, available for groups requiring easy access into the Museum. Please tell us if you wish to use the minibus bay when you make your visit booking with us.
If this bay is not available there are normally two parking spaces for disabled badge holders, near the main entrance of the Museum. These belong to the RBKC Borough Council and cannot be pre-booked.
Nearest public car park
The Museum itself does not offer any car parking. There are parking meters on Exhibition Road.
