Teachers' CPD day – Learning in Museums

This one-day course has been developed to support you in making the most out of visits to the Science Museum and other institutions. It's intended for whole school staff, individual teachers and education consultants.

The day includes:

  • Interactive presentations about the Science Museum’s galleries, resources, and gallery-based activities
  • Opportunities to try out classroom activities for before and after your visit
  • Practical guidance on planning a visit to meet the curriculum and your students’ needs
  • Lots of time in the galleries, exploring them for yourself
  • Opportunities to share ideas and experiences with other teachers and our staff
  • A Question and Answer session at the end of the day
  • Lots of coffee, tea, cake and a lovely lunch!
  • A goody bag to take away with you

The course is run at the special rate of £65.00 per person, with group discounts for teachers from the same school.

If you have a group of 10 or more, we will set aside a course day just for you.
