Pupils can experience the awesome power of earthquakes, volcanoes and severe storms, and travel with the scientists who go on daring quests to understand how these natural disasters are triggered. They will learn what is being done to predict and prepare for these potentially deadly events as they come face-to-face with Earth's most destructive forces.

With the aid of computer-animated scenes, pupils will also get to travel back in time to the formation of the Earth to see the planetary crust, covered with ancient erupting volcanoes and seas of molten lava, being moved by vast geological forces; its atmosphere, a blanket of sweeping storms and lightning flashes. Pupils will learn that the planet we call Earth, where life flourishes today, is the result of four and a half billion years of activity by the immense forces of nature.

Although this film has been U rated, there are some scenes which some viewers might find disturbing e.g. short TV news footage in the aftermath of an earthquake. Make a free preview visit or contact us if you are concerned or want to know more – 020 7942 4777.
