Where does energy come from? What does electricity actually feel like? Do we have all the energy supplies we need? How can I make a difference?
Innovative hands-on exhibits in this gallery encourage students to explore how energy powers every aspect of our lives, and challenges them to consider and question how we will meet our planet's growing energy demands.
The gallery is a fantastic resource for learning, covering many curriculum areas including Science, Geography, Citizenship, PSHE and Art at KS2 and KS3
If you are visiting in the spring term 2012 and you wish to include Energy - fuelling the future in your itinerary you will need to request a timeslot in the gallery when you book your visit to the Museum. Your booked session will include a multimedia briefing for students by one of our Explainers to set the scene for their time with the exhibits themselves.
For visits across the summer term 2012 and onwards, this gallery will not require pre-booking as part of a visit itinerary, and there will no longer be an Explainer briefing. You will still need to book your visit to the Museum but your group will be welcome to visit Energy - fuelling the future at at any time during your day at the Museum.
