DC stands for direct current. It's a form of electricity. The electricity that comes out of a battery is in this form. It's the best way of sending electricity over short distances. Solar panels produce DC electricity.
Diesel
Diesel is made from crude oil. It is burned in the engines of some cars but is mainly used by lorries, vans and buses.
