Incorrect! No! It would be tricky, but in theory a bolt of lightning has enough energy to toast 160,000 slices.
Now somebody just needs to work out how to transfer that energy to your toaster.
Some of the energy of a storm cloud can be released as a lightning bolt.
We can see and hear this happening as a flash of lightning and a clap of thunder.
We see the lightning before we hear the thunder because light waves move faster than sound waves.
