Correct! Yes! It would take 250,000 wind turbines to power Britain entirely from the wind, but they'd only make enough electricity on a windy day.
Today we have only a tiny fraction of this.
By using more wind power Britain is aiming to make big cuts in the amount of greenhouse gases it pumps into the air.
The government hopes that by 2020 we will be able reduce our fossil fuel use and get 15 per cent of the energy we need from renewable sources.
