Made by Fletcher, Russell and Co (Radiation Ltd) of Warrington in Lancashire, and in use until 1973. All-enamelled cooker in fashion colours of cream and royal blue with a thermostatically controlled oven, grill, four hot plate burners and plate rack. This era, up to the end of World War II, produced the most solid and reliable cookers, well-built and easy to use. These were followed in the late 1940s by less durable cookers of light enamelled steel sheets on metal frameworks.
