Plesch Tonsillograph, 1931-1940.

Machines like this were used to measure blood pressure at the Pioneer Health Centre, Peckham, south east London. Blood pressure was not a routine diagnostic test in Britain until after the 1950s. The printout from the machine was kept with the printouts from other members of the same family.
