Tibetan doctor's bag.
Image number: 10289145

A Tibetan doctor's bag containing minerals and herbs, a horn and spatula for mixing, and a blade and a sharpening stone for simple surgery. In Tibet, medicine has elements familiar from China (herbal cures), Greece-Arabia (the humours of the body), and India (placing the soul in the spine). It also uses chants from Lamaism, a form of Buddhism.
