A copy of a skull, repaired by titanium cranioplasty, developed by Blair and Gordon of Belfast, with additional plate, strips and screws made by Down's Surgical Ltd of Mitcham, London. Cranioplasty is the surgical repair of a gap or hole in the skull, using a material of similar hardness, strength and rigidity to that of the skull itself.
