Electronic Music Studios VCS 3 analogue electronic synthesizer. The circuit of an analogue synthesizer produced simple electrical wave forms which could be modified to imitate acoustic instruments or produce novel sounds. The EMS VCS 3 was used by pioneers of electronic music in the 1970s, including Pink Floyd and Roxy Music.
