Lily portable oil (paraffin) heater, c 1890.

Two flat wicks are housed behind a pale blue enamelled cast-iron casing with a removable lid. When this is removed, the heater can be used for cooking. Note the unusual neo-gothic windows. Produced by John Harper and Co, Willenhall.
