Micro Perophone radiogramophone, 1932.

This 5-valve receiver, restored in 1968, has a 10 inch 78 rpm turntable mounted vertically where a speaker would normally be. Basically, this is a Regentone RG670 radio with a Simpson's direct-drive synchronous turntable added. The inside edge of the turntable has magnetic 'teeth', driven directly by coils carrying mains current, which means there are no belts and pulleys which could cause 'wow' or 'flutter'.
