SCIENCE MUSEUM SCREENINGS OF THE HITCHHIKER'S GUIDE TO THE GALAXY
To coincide with the launch of the exhibition the Science Museum will also be holding limited screenings of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy (PG) in the Science Museum IMAX Cinema. Screenings will be at 17:00 for the opening week of the exhibition (28 May – 5 June inclusive except Wednesday 1 June). Further screenings may be made available later in the run of the exhibition - please check website before you visit. Please note this film will not be in IMAX format or 3D and will not occupy the full screen.

THE HITCHHIKER'S GUIDE TO THE SCIENCE MUSEUM TRAIL
Print out our Science Museum trail, which links the exhibition to some of the wonderful objects in the Museum’s permanent collections, and complete it during your visit for an even more jam-packed day out! Visitors following the trail will able to see how science fiction writers such as Jules Verne, HG Wells and Arthur C Clarke inspired scientists and rocket design, as well as many other fascinating objects and stories.

PUNKSCIENCE – stand up comedy about Life, the Universe and Everything
From the Big Bang to the Big Crunch, with the evolution of stars, planets, life, language, culture and technology, we create and destroy an entire universe in the interests of answering the ultimate questions of Life, the Universe and Everything, with the help of our live audience... and all in 42 minutes! Don’t Panic, tickets available.

Punkscience is the Science Museum’s resident stand-up comedy team, which combines the talents of comedian Jon Milton, street artist Ben Samuels, actor Dan Hope and drummer Bradford Gross.

BLOOMIN' ALIENS!
Flying saucers, time machines, robots, mind probes - Arthur Gaunt has seen them all! Meet the man who has met more aliens than you've had hot dinners as he tells the story of a life of close encounters of the absurd kind in this drama presentation.
Suitable for those aged 7 and above.

Join us for our free family events being held to complement the exhibition, including:

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Science Museum Show
Discover that truth is sometimes stranger than fiction in this fast-paced, action packed show.

Make friends with an intelligent robot, listen to sounds from outer space, help us blow up a spaceman and find out about some of the amazing discoveries made by your fellow earthlings. Don’t forget your towel!
This event will be held regularly throughout the May and summer school holidays. Further details will be made available soon. Places are limited and subject to availability.

THE HITCHHIKER'S GUIDE TO THE GALAXY AT THE DANA CENTRE
The Science Museum’s Dana Centre – the UK’s only venue dedicated to discussing contemporary and controversial science - will be programming a series of evening events on the science of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy throughout June. Complete with a vibrant café bar and wireless network, the Dana Centre brings live discussions, debates, contemporary art installations, science experiments and stand-up comedy to everybody over 18 who wants a thought-provoking night out.
