Prove what and why

The Science Museum has examined the evidence. We’re convinced climate change is caused by humans and requires urgent action.

This December, 192 countries will meet in Copenhagen to agree a global plan for tackling climate change. The UK government claim they’re serious about climate change. Will they prove it?

PROVE IT! is your chance to check out the evidence and decide if you want to back a strong, effective, fair deal at Copenhagen.

Why is the Science Museum getting involved?

The Science Museum is a great place to visit to find out more about climate change.

We think it's one of the most urgent issues facing us all and we know that science and technology will have a major part to play in tackling it.

PROVE IT! is our latest project to help you make sense of the science behind climate change. In June 2010 we will be launching a major new experience dedicated to the subject, plus a three-year programme of events...

We’ve also pledged to cut our carbon emissions by 10% during 2010 as part of the 10:10 scheme.
