Open seven days a week, 10.00-18.00. Entry to the Museum is free.

How long do you look?

Every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday from 10 November – 13 December 2014

Have you ever had a conversation with someone who looks at you too much, or too little?

Come and help our Live Science researchers from University College London and Queen Mary University explore how long we can comfortably maintain eye contact with another person and how this varies depending on factors such as age, gender and personality.

Who can take part?

Anyone is welcome to take part. We recommend the activity for adults and children aged 11 and over. Written consent is required for everybody. If you are under 18, your parent or legal guardian will have to sign the form.

What is Live Science?

Live Science is an ongoing project where real scientists come into the Science Museum to carry out their research using Museum visitors as volunteers. You can take part in real scientific experiments to find out more about yourself.

Nothing dangerous… just fun, interesting experiments.
