Join us for a private morning viewing of our latest blockbuster exhibition specifically for families and parents with young children. Explore the exhibition away from the crowds before it opens to the public for the day.
Featuring over 100 robots, including several working models, this exhibition will take you on an incredible journey spanning five centuries, illustrating the extraordinary history of humanoid robots. Including famous robots from science fiction and cutting-edge technology straight from the lab, this is your chance to meet some of the friendliest robots around.
Important information about your visit:
09.00: Guests arrive and will be guided to the exhibition (Latecomers will be admitted by staff until 09.45). Robots exhibition is open to ticket holders.
10.00: Robots exhibition opens to general public, but you're welcome to stay longer.
Please enter the Museum through the groups entrance on Imperial College Road. See Google Street View.
You will be met at the entrance by Museum staff who will direct you to the exhibition.
Please print out and bring along your etickets. Please bring ID for any concessions tickets.
Bags, coats and buggies
We search bags as you enter the Museum which may delay your entry slightly. Unfortunately there will not be a cloakroom available at this event.
Buggies will be allowed inside the exhibition but can also be stored outside the exhibition space at your own risk.
The nearest women's and babychange bathrooms are on Staircase B on level 1 with a similar set of men's and babychange bathrooms on Staircase B on level 2. The nearest men's and disabled bathrooms are on level 1, near to the Robots Shop. Please ask a member of staff for directions on the day.
- Age 11 and under go free
- Ticket holders will be able to exit and re-enter the Robots exhibition until 10.30.
- The Robots Cafe will be open from 10.00 serving a variety of hot and cold drinks, sandwiches and snacks. Please ask staff at the cafe if you would like hot water to warm up baby milk.
- The Robots Shop will be open from 09.30.
- The Science Museum welcomes breastfeeding anywhere in the building.
