In this special event, physicist and TV science presenter, Helen Czerski, will share her passion for science and investigating the interesting things in life. Helen will reveal how she became fascinated by science, and give an insight into working as a scientist. Visitors will have the chance to ask questions, find out more and be inspired.

A Big Ball of Fire: Talk & iBook Launch

Join solar physicist Helen Mason and space scientist Lucie Green for this interactive talk on their fascinating insights into the Sun. This will be followed by the launch of ‘A Big Ball of Fire’ – a free ibook created by students from Eastlea Community School, Newham and the opportunity to chat about careers in space.

Helen Mason is Assistant Director of Research at the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics at Cambridge University. Lucie Green is a space scientist based at the Mullard Space Science Laboratory.
