The Science Museum's resident comedy team Punk Science are taking on Big Data and, after analysing the data sets, they've found that people who attend the Science Museum Comedy Club laugh more than those that don't.

In celebration of the Science Museum’s latest Antenna gallery Our Lives in Data, the team have isolated some fantastic variables to input into this month's Lates that will both interest and amuse you.

Helping them break through the volume, variety and velocity of Big Data this month will be:

Angela Barnes
A previous winner of the BBC New Comedy Award, Angela has gone on to appear in many tv shows and her very own radio series You Can’t Take it With You, which recently aired on Radio 4.

Sheldon Paquin
The lead content developer of the Science Museum's Our Lives in Data exhibition, Sheldon will be delivering fascinating metadata.

Rebecca Mileham
The Science Museum Comedy Club is delighted to welcome back Rebecca, who is an expert in how museums express their object-related data through museum text writing. Rebecca is also the author of Powering Up: are computer games changing our lives?

John Kearns
One of the most exciting comedy talents on the scene, John Kearns is the only person to win the Edinburgh Festival Best Newcomer Award and follow it the next year with the main Edinburgh Festival Award. If you like your data chaotic and hilarious then don't miss him.

Along with these fantastic acts, your very own Punk Science team will be exploring data in their own inimitable way. So complete this algorithm: Go to the Science Museum website; obtain ticket; go to Lates; watch show; be very amused.

Please note: Line-up is subject to change.
