Climate Week

Looking for an inspiring activity during Climate Week? Then the Science Museum may be exactly the place you are looking for.

You could pay a visit to the atmosphere: exploring climate science gallery – the fresh and exciting way to make sense of the climate – the science of how it works, what it’s doing now and what it might do next. See a real Antarctic ice-core – the only one on display in a UK museum and see how scientists have studied past episodes of climate change.

More than a hands-on gallery, atmosphere reveals some of the key instruments used by today’s scientists, reports on some of the latest climate news, and gives you the chance to dig deeper into the story of our changing climate.

Visit the Antenna gallery and see the Saietta bike – a super stylish electric motorbike made from sustainable materials and designed to get around the problems of pollution, energy consumption and waste linked with personal transportation.
