Que(e)rying the Hero’s Quest

Journalist Alex Fitch looks at representations of sexuality in speculative fiction, a genre often inclusive of LGBT characters amongst its depictions of the alien ‘other’. This has led to the diverse sexuality seen in the icons of present-day pop culture such as Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Green Lantern.
