When do the next dates get released?

The Science Night dates for July to December 2012, including our Family Science Night, will be available to book from 8:45 on:

• 7th March - For July to December 2012
• 16th May - For Family Science Night

The dates of these Science Nights will be published here on the evening before they become available. 

 What does Science Night include?

• Exciting hands-on workshops
• Sleeping overnight among the Science Museum’s amazing exhibits
• Watching a breathtaking 3D film in our IMAX Cinema
• A tasty breakfast
• Experienced staff who will ensure you have a safe and enjoyable time

Who is Science Night for?

Science Night is suitable for children aged 8, 9, 10 or 11 years. They must be accompanied by adults (i.e. persons over the age of 18). Family groups, birthday parties or larger groups from schools, Cubs or Brownies can all attend. To find out how many adults and children can attend please read our FAQs.

Our Science Night on Saturday 26 November is exclusively for Brownie groups. The age range for this special Night is 7-11 years.

Children with additional educational needs are welcome. We can provide a member of staff to give help and advice on the night. Please let us know when you book how we can help your group get the most out of the Science Night experience.

How much does it cost?

The cost of Science Night is £45 per person. However, we may be able to reduce this if your group qualifies for our Bursary Fund.

Call 020 7942 4777 from 8.45 to 17.00 Mondays to Thursdays and 8.45 to 15.00 on Fridays.

Our phone lines get extremely busy so please be patient if you are trying to call us.

Places are limited and are booked on a first-come, first-served basis. This is an extremely popular event and sells out very quickly.

Please do not promise children that they will be attending a Science Night until your booking is confirmed by us.

Please note that payment must be made at the time of booking, so make sure you have your credit or debit card ready when you call us.

Owing to the popularity of this event we are unable to take provisional bookings and we do not operate a waiting list.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel your booking for Science Night or reduce numbers, you must tell us at least 14 days before the date of your booked Science Night.

We regret that cancellations or reductions in numbers cannot be accepted later than 14 days before your visit.
