The Main Entrance to the Museum is on Exhibition Road in South Kensington, London, SW7 2DD.

By Underground

The Museum is easily accessible by Underground.

The nearest tube station is South Kensington on the District, Circle and Piccadilly lines. A pedestrian subway runs directly from the ticket barrier at South Kensington station to the Main Entrance of the Museum on Exhibition Road.

Gloucester Road tube station is a 15 minute walk away and is also on the Circle, District and Piccadilly lines.

By Bus

Many local bus services pass near to the Museum.

Bus routes 14, 49, 70, 74, 345, 360, 414, 430 and C1 stop outside South Kensington Underground Station, from where it is a five minute walk north to the Museum's Main Entrance.

By Bicycle

The museum does not have dedicated bicycle stands, though folding bicycles can be left in the cloakroom on the lower ground floor, which is accessible by lift from the main entrance.

By Car

The Museum does not offer any car parking and local parking is extremely limited.

There is no visitor parking in Exhibition Road. The nearest pay and display car parking is in Prince Consort Road and Queen's Gate. More details are available from the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.

A small number of disabled parking spaces are available outside the Museum on Exhibition Road. Blue Badge holders may park in these spaces for four hours between 08.30 and 18.30. More information is avalable from the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.
