Half term at the Science Museum

Visit the Museum for an action-packed programme of events and activities

Don't miss out on our brilliant workshops and events this autumn half term. Watch volcanoes erupt in the wondrous wintry world of Iceland, uncover the spooky science secrets of Halloween and learn how to write computer code that makes a robot obey your commands. Plus, you can take a thrill ride with the Red Arrows, journey into huge 3D worlds at our IMAX theatre, visit the Information Age gallery and learn how today's amazing communication technology came to be, and much, much more.

We're staying open until 19.00 (last entry 18.15) from 24 October–1 November 2015, apart from 28 October when the Museum will close at 18.00 to host Lates. In addition, our interactive galleries will be closing at 18.00 each day.
