Summer at the Science Museum

Visit the Museum for an action-packed programme of events and activities

Build your own magic lantern, take part in a real scientific experiment and visit the our Discovery Motion Theatre to enjoy an animated 3D film with physical effects. Then why not stop by Cravings: Can your food control you? to find out about the 'second brain' in our gut and how the food we eat affects us, before exploring over 200 years of communication and information technology in Information Age?

We're staying open until 19.00 (last entry 18.15) from 25 July – 30 August 2015, apart from Wednesday 29 July and Wednesday 26 August when the Museum will close at 18.00 to host Lates. In addition, our interactive galleries will be closing at 18.00 each day.
