Eating and shopping

The Science Museum features two main cafés and various smaller ones. There is also a large shop selling science-based toys and books.

You are also welcome to bring your own food, which can be eaten in the picnic areas provided.

All our cafes are designed for families and have tasty, freshly-prepared food. Our coffee is fairly traded and we only use British organic milk. You may eat and drink in any uncarpeted area of the museum. If you have brought your own food, seating is provided in the picnic area on the first floor.
