Wonderlab–Groups

We offer KS2 and KS3 school groups free visits on week days during term time. The gallery is set aside for different year groups on different days. Please refer to our Wonderlab school groups calendar below to see when your year group can visit. This offer has limited availability, book early to avoid disappointment.

At all other times, we offer up to 25% off for school groups. The discounted prices are:

Term times (KS2/KS3)

Adult ticket - Free

All other times
Child ticket - £7.50
Adult ticket - £9.00

For informal education groups, including Girlguiding, Scouts, youth groups and summer schools, we can offer up to 25% off the full price Wonderlab tickets. The discounted prices are:

Child ticket - £7.50
Adult ticket - £9.00 

For other groups, including coach groups, we can offer up to 15% off the full price Wonderlab tickets. The discounted prices are:

Your booking will be for a 60 minute session in the gallery. Time slots start every 15 minutes and have a limited capacity so we may need to split your group across different sessions to accommodate everyone. Your confirmation email will show the time slots you are booked to attend.

With rolling admissions across the day, there will be other groups and members of the public in the gallery. This gives Wonderlab a busy and lively atmosphere.

We ask all group leaders to actively explore with their children to facilitate engagement with the exhibits.

Wonderlab is available for all schools visitors however we allocate several SEND Days in the gallery across the year, intended for schools visiting with students who would benefit from a less busy environment.

On SEND Days we reduce the capacity in the gallery to create a quieter atmosphere and this also allows our Explainers to make the gallery even more access-friendly.

Please contact us to request your visit on 033 0058 0058 (option 1, then option 3). Please tell us about your group so we can tailor their experience in the gallery as much as possible.

If you require a private lunch space up to 20 people per slot (11:20/12:10/13:00) or minibus parking (subject to availability), please contact us to make your booking.

Home educating families can take advantage of the schools' pricing for tickets on weekdays during term time as long children are aged 7 to 16. Use the Wonderlab Year Group Calendar above to choose a date for your visit.  

Alternatively, check out our Home Ed Days when we relax the age-group restrictions to allow families with older and younger siblings to enter Wonderlab on free education tickets.

Admission to the gallery without a pre-booking on a weekday during term time will be charged at the normal ticket prices.

Admission prices  apply for home educating families visiting at weekends and during school holidays.
