A insight into careers in the creative industries for students aged 13 to 19.

Creative Quarter is a day packed with free workshops, talks, tours and performances in and around South Kensington, all offering 13-19 year old students the chance to explore creative industries and creative careers.

At the Science Museum we'll be taking a look at how museums create galleries full of objects and stories. Students will learn from our expert designers and exhibition creators about the roles they have in crafting beautiful, fascinating exhibitions.

Choose from our series of tours:

Mathematics: The Winton Gallery, at 11:00-11:30 and 14:00-14:30
Join a member of our Design team in Mathematics: The Winton Gallery and find out what it was like to work in collaboration with Zaha Hadid Architects to bring maths to life.

Medicine: The Wellcome Galleries, at 12:00-12:30
Where do you start when you want to explore 500 years of history in our brand new medicine galleries? A member of our Exhibitions team will talk through the process and explore the architecture of the gallery.

Science City 1550–1800: The Linbury Gallery, at 13:00-13:30
Hear from a member of the museum's creative team about how they developed the 3D design of the gallery to evoke London as a place, while not distracting from the stunning objects on display.
