Feel the Force Show – school info

You are here:

A dynamic show about forces and magnets, recommended for students aged 7 to 11.

A member of the Learning team demonstrates the 'Feel the force' science show

Can you ever switch a magnet off? What does 'aerodynamic' mean? And what forces will you find in the Highland Games? Join presenters Sir Isaac Newton and Phil the Stunt Frog in this unforgettable collection of live demonstrations that will have your students talking long after their visit.

"A fearsome frolic through the ever complicated area of forces—it was energetic, exciting and educational!" (Year 6 teacher)

Continue the theme by visiting the Flight, Making the Modern World and Exploring Space galleries to think about how forces come into play in the different forms of transport—bicycles, cars, boats, aircraft and rockets—on display.

This event is for educational group visits. Our booking terms apply.
