Science Museum

Thought-provoking and interactive, this gallery was a great place for children aged 7–14 (and their teachers and families) to explore how energy powers every aspect of our lives.

Where does energy come from? What does electricity actually feel like? And what on Earth is a fossil fuel? Visitors could leave their thoughts about energy for others to see on the Energy Ring, a huge interactive sculpture suspended in the air.

With everything from giant spinning drums to dance-floor footpads, this exciting hands-on gallery helped visitors of all ages discover more about energy.
