Science Museum Lates are adults-only, after-hours theme nights that take place in the museum on the last Wednesday of every month.

Join us for a special Lates this June to mark 50 years of Pride in London. There’ll be fascinating talks, illuminating tours, hands-on workshops and much more to explore!
Plus, all the regular Lates highlights will be here for you to enjoy, including a Pride-themed pub quiz and the best silent disco in town.
George Michael Freedom Uncut (15)
Join us in our IMAX theatre for a special viewing of this newly released feature-length documentary, shedding light on the life of the iconic late singer George Michael. The documentary is narrated by George Michael himself and directed by close friend David Austin. This event features a special live performance from comedian, actor and drag artist Jonny Woo.
Why do we need queer spaces?
We have seen a steep decrease in LGBTQ+ spaces over the years. Join Lo Marshall, Postdoctoral Fellow at UCL, who will be chairing a panel to find out why they are so important and what is being done to combat the decline. Panellists are Alex D’Sa, CEO of House of Pride, Soha from misery and Amy Roberts, Chair of Friends of the Joiners Arms.

Join our curators on a trail through the museum and discover some of the fascinating queer objects in our collections. Ranging from everything between hens and apothecary’s shop signs, there are wonderful stories waiting for you to explore.
An HIV vaccine: Q&a with Robin Shattock
Recent clinical trials have brought discussions around an HIV vaccine into the limelight. Meet Professor Robin Shattock, lead researcher for the European AIDS Vaccine Initiative, to find out how close we are to finding an effective solution.

- All Lates visitors will need to pre-book a free or VIP ticket in advance, to ensure a safe and enjoyable visit
- General admission tickets are free and timeslots start from 18.45
- VIP tickets are £10, with early entry timeslots starting from 18.30, and include a free drink as well as 15% off in the museum shop on the night
