Could quantum computers change the world? Meet the scientists working on the supercomputers that could have a significant impact on our lives.

Scientists are working on a new type of supercomputer that uses the unusual behaviour of individual atoms to do complex calculations. These devices may have the ability to solve problems that existing supercomputers never could.

Visit the Tomorrow's World gallery for a demonstration that will show you the ways in which scientists manipulate atoms in quantum computers. You may even get the chance to control a quantum computer yourself.
