Following our sell-out screening that closes the Science Fiction Film Festival, we are pleased to announce another chance to see the full IMAX edition of 1982 dystopian sci-fi classic Blade Runner, showing in IMAX format on one of the biggest screens in the country.
In the year 2019, the police department forces Rick Deckard out of retirement to hunt four genetically engineered humans who have come to Earth. Designed to do difficult, hazardous work, the manufactured humans are stronger, faster and smarter than nonengineered humans. They feel no pain or remorse; they are almost indistinguishable from other humans and have begun killing people. Now Deckard must stop them before they kill again.
From legendary director Ridley Scott, starring Harrison Ford as Deckard and based on the novel Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep by Philip K. Dick.
